Privacy Policy

The short version: Still collects only what the app needs to work. We never sell your data, we never use it for advertising, and you can delete everything from inside the app.
What we collect
- Account email. Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code. We don't use passwords.
- Your app data. The behaviors you track, urge logs (time, intensity, trigger, whether you rode it out), check-ins (mood, counts, your notes), practice reps, reminder settings, and your timezone — so "today" and your reminders line up with your life.
- Talk it out messages. If you use the Plus chat companion, your messages and the companion's replies are stored in your account so the conversation can continue, and each message is checked by an automated safety scan for crisis language before a reply is generated.
- Subscription status. Whether you have Still Plus, which plan, and its status. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see or store your card details.
- Crash and diagnostic reports. If the app crashes, a technical report (device model, app version, error details) helps us fix it.
How your data is processed
- Our servers store your account and app data so the app works across sessions.
- Talk it out is powered by Anthropic's AI models. When you send a chat message, its text is transmitted to Anthropic to generate the reply.
- Transactional email (your sign-in code) is sent through Resend.
- Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat, which receives your subscription status from Apple.
- Crash reports are processed by Sentry.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or social networks, and the app contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
What we don't collect
No location data, no contacts, no photos, no health data from your device, no advertising identifiers.
Your choices
- Delete everything. Settings → Privacy → "Delete my data" permanently deletes your account and all associated data. You can also email hello@stillhabit.app and we'll do it for you.
- Export. Email hello@stillhabit.app for a copy of your data.
- Reminders. Opt in or out of notifications at any time in Settings or your device settings.
Children
Still is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with a reputable cloud provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum the app needs.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new date above.
